About the Author

Map UI Patterns is the work of Michael Gaigg, Lead User Interface Engineer at Esri‘s Professional Services division. After more than 27 years of designing web applications and with over 18 years of experience designing map applications he has seen the same problems over and over again. His goal is to share these experiences so other designers/developers don’t have to ‘re-invent the wheel’ again.
